Vizible AI MCP connector: ask Claude or ChatGPT about your AI visibility
Every Vizible AI account, brand or agency, can now connect its data to Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT or Mistral's Vibe through one MCP address. The assistant reads your visibility, competitors, cited sources, tasks and AI traffic, and never changes anything.
Since October 2026, every Vizible AI account, brand or agency, paid or on trial, can connect its data to Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT and Vibe, Mistral's assistant formerly called Le Chat, through one MCP connector. Once connected, you ask your assistant questions in plain language, such as why your visibility in Gemini dropped this month or which competitors pass you in ChatGPT, and it answers from your own Vizible AI data instead of the open web. The connector is read-only: the assistant can read your numbers, but it can never change, delete or pay for anything.
What the Vizible AI connector lets your assistant read
The connector gives your assistant the same data as your dashboard, for every brand or client in the account. That covers your visibility and score, calculated exactly as in the app, the tracked prompts and the AI answers behind them, your competitors and the sources AI engines cite, your tasks and content ideas, the website audit, AI crawler visits and the AI traffic measured in Google Analytics 4.
In practice, questions that used to take an export and a spreadsheet now take one sentence. Which sites do AI engines cite most for my prompts? How many visits did AI assistants send to my site last month? Which of my tasks would move my AI Share of Voice the most? The assistant pulls the answer from your account, so the figures match what you see in Vizible AI. The daily tracking itself does not change, and if you are still comparing tools to track brand mentions in AI answers, the connector is now part of every Vizible AI plan.
What MCP is, and why Claude, ChatGPT and Vibe accept it
MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is the open standard Anthropic introduced on 25 November 2024 to connect AI assistants to the systems where data lives. Instead of each assistant building its own integration with each tool, a tool publishes one MCP server and any compatible assistant can use it.
Claude, ChatGPT and Mistral's Vibe all let users add a custom MCP connector by its address. Claude's help center says custom connectors work on the Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans, with Free users limited to one. OpenAI documents custom MCP connectors in ChatGPT's developer mode, and Mistral's documentation lists OAuth 2.1 sign-in among the methods its connectors support.
How to connect Vizible AI to Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT or Vibe
Every account uses the same address, https://vizibleai.com/mcp, and there is no key to copy: signing in is what keeps accounts apart. The API & MCP tab of your account shows the address with a copy button, the steps for each assistant, and every connected application with a Disconnect button.
In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, add a custom connector and paste the address. Claude then opens a Vizible AI page where you sign in with Vizible and click Authorize. ChatGPT and Vibe work the same way: you add a custom MCP connector with the address, then approve access on the Vizible AI page.
In Claude Code, one command adds the connector: claude mcp add --transport http vizible https://vizibleai.com/mcp. Typing /mcp inside Claude Code then opens the sign-in in your browser.
Read-only by design
The connector can read and nothing else. Your assistant cannot edit a prompt, delete a competitor, change a setting or start a payment, and that does not depend on the assistant behaving well: Vizible AI's database and functions reject any write that comes from a connected application. Each account can ask up to 120 questions per hour.
The Vizible AI connector is read-only: your assistant can read every number in your account and change none of them.
That matters most for agencies. An agency connects one account and can ask about every client workspace at once, for example which client lost the most visibility this week, knowing that nothing the assistant does can touch a client's setup. Our guide to Vizible AI features for agencies explains how client workspaces are organized.
From answers to changes: Claude writes, you apply
Reading the data is half the value. The other half is what the assistant does with it next. Ask Claude which three actions matter most this week and it can rank your daily GEO tasks against your website audit and explain each choice. Ask it to draft a page for a prompt where competitors are cited and you are not, and it can start from the sources AI engines cite for that prompt, which is your citation gap in practice.
Changes to your website stay in your hands. The Vizible AI connector never writes to your site. If you use Claude Code in your own website project, Claude can apply the fixes it proposes to your files there, because Claude Code works in your code with the permissions you give it. With a CMS, you paste the draft Claude wrote, or publish through the WordPress publishing already listed among Vizible AI features for brands.
What the assistant sees, and for how long
The assistant sees what your account holds. AI answers are kept for 90 days on every plan, so questions about trends cover up to the last three months, and new figures arrive after each daily run. Vizible AI tracks visibility in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. Claude is one of the assistants where you read that data, not one of the engines Vizible AI measures.
Frequently asked questions
Which Vizible AI plans include the MCP connector?
Every paid or trial account includes it, on both brand and agency plans, at no extra cost. Each account can ask up to 120 questions per hour through the connector.
Can Claude or ChatGPT change my Vizible AI account or my website through the connector?
No. The connector is read-only: Vizible AI's database and functions reject any write that comes from a connected application, so the assistant cannot edit, delete or pay for anything. Changes to your website are made with your own tools, for example Claude Code working in your website project.
Do I need an API key to connect Vizible AI to Claude or ChatGPT?
No. Everyone uses the same address, https://vizibleai.com/mcp, and you sign in with your Vizible AI account, then click Authorize. Signing in is what keeps each account's data separate.
Which AI assistants can use the Vizible AI connector?
Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT and Vibe, Mistral's assistant formerly called Le Chat. The API & MCP tab of your Vizible AI account gives the steps for each one.
Does Vizible AI track my brand's visibility in Claude?
No. Vizible AI measures visibility in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. Claude is an assistant where you can read your Vizible AI data, not an engine Vizible AI tracks.
