Knowledge Graph
A knowledge graph is a structured database of entities and the relationships between them, Google's and Wikidata's are the two most influential, that AI systems consult to verify claims and resolve which real-world thing a name actually refers to.
Why it matters
A brand that's present and accurate in these graphs, with consistent facts and links to its own verified profiles, gives AI systems an authoritative record to check claims against. A brand that's absent or inconsistent leaves the model to guess, which is where confusion and hallucination creep in.

An entity is a distinct, recognizable thing, a brand, person, product, or concept, that an AI system can identify, disambiguate, and connect consistently across different sources, rather than treating as just an unrelated string of text each time it appears.
