E-E-A-T
E-E-A-T is Google's content-quality framework, Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness, originally built for human search-quality raters, that now functions informally as a trust filter influencing whether AI systems treat a source as credible enough to cite.
Why it matters
Independent research has found named, attributed authorship correlates with meaningfully higher citation rates than anonymous, brand-voice-only content. E-E-A-T signals, a real byline, demonstrated expertise, consistent facts, appear to carry over from classic search quality into what generative engines decide is worth citing.

An entity is a distinct, recognizable thing, a brand, person, product, or concept, that an AI system can identify, disambiguate, and connect consistently across different sources, rather than treating as just an unrelated string of text each time it appears.
